Last night while browsing upcoming estate sales, my wife and I went and tried out a great restaurant in Fremont area of Seattle called Joule.
It is located on Stone way.
Has a great vibe, with outdoor indoor seating. We got right in without any wait around 8:30 pm.
We shared the Spicy rice cake, chorizo, pickled mustard green. It was so yummy, the rice cake looked like little thin sliced potatoes and the sauce had a wonderful zing. Would have licked the plate clean if I could have.
Also shared the Chinese broccoli, walnut pesto. It was also very good, the combination of ingredients are so well matched.
And last but not least, we shared the that” short rib steak, kalbi, grilled kimchi. Not sure what made it a " short rib " ? But, oh man, it was good.
The spicy rice cake dish was my favorite of the night.
The service was very good and friendly. My only complaint is I thought the wine prices were really high, especially by the glass.
I do not remember any bottle of wine under $40.00, most were $45 and up.
Would go back, but might not order any wine.
Nice looking sale in Useless Bay near Langley starting tomorrow, but it is too far. This week is going to be hard for me to get to many estate sales, have a lot going on.
Girlfriends Estate sales has two going on today in Bellevue , but will have to try for tomorrow.
Seems like more and more start on Thursdays

About this blog
This blog will mainly focus on Estate Sales and some garage sales and rummage sales mostly in the greater Seattle area.
Will not be listing where sales are, but will be reviewing the sales themselves and whether or not they live up to the hype of their ad, are the prices good, any good things to buy or was the sale rehash of the Goodwill store.
Not here to persecute any organization, or business that does Estate sales, but as any of you know who have gone to estate sales and read about an sale on Craigslist or now Estate.net thinking it is going to be this fabulous sale from the description, only to find out it sucked.
Will be going off on tangents on stuff I buy or see and might talk about music, cooking, gardening, art, pets, etc.
Hopefully, pictures of some estate sale finds.
Most likely I will be the only one reading my blog, but oh well.
Also, never done a blog before, so there will be a learning curve.
